BWF Taipei Badminton Open 2022 Women’s Singles Results, Semi-Final Schedule, Date, Time, Draw, Score And Live Stream Telecast India
The Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium is the site of the $500k Yonex Taipei Open badminton competition, which begins on July 19 and lasts until July 24, 2022. In the semi-final, Tai Tzu-ying will have a lot of expectations on her given that she is the top-seed in the tournament and has already won the tournament three times before in front of her home crowd.

2022 Taipei Open Badminton Women’s Singles Quarterfinal Results, Score, Draw, Fixtures
In the women’s singles quarterfinal of the Taipei Open on Friday at the Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium, Tai Tzu-ying defeated Pai Yu-po, another Taiwanese player. With a score of 21-13, 21-14, Tai Tzu-ying dominated and defeated her opponent in the quarterfinal. Following this victory, Tai Tzu-ying will compete against Hsu Wen-chi, another Taiwanese, in the semi-finals on Saturday. Following her triumph against Pai in the opening round of the Singapore Open by scores of 21-13, 21-14, Tai has now defeated Pai twice in as many weeks.
Meanwhile, the other semi-final will be an all-Japanese clash as seventh-seed Saena Kawakami will take on fellow Japanese shuttler N Nidaira. Hence, the women’s singles final will take place between Chinese Taipei and Japan’s representative shuttlers.

Points Award System
The BWF point distribution method determines how many points are awarded for each round of the BWF World Tour Super 300 competition. The winner of the Women’s Singles event will receive 7,000 BWF points, while the runner-up will score 5,950 points. If Tai Tzu-ying, the world’s second-ranked player, wins the women’s singles event at the Taipei Open, she will be one step closer to taking over the top spot.

Prize Money Pool Distribution
The entire prize pool for the 2022 Taipei Open will be US$500,000 when the prizes are distributed in accordance with BWF regulations. The female singles competition winner will furthermore receive the highly desired gold medal and $37,500 from this reward fund. Meanwhile, the silver medal and a total cash prize of $14,000 will go to the runner-up.
