BWF Taipei Badminton Open 2022 Women’s Singles Results Today, Day 2 Schedule, Date, Time, Draw, Players And Live Stream Telecast India
The Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium will play host to the $500k Yonex Taipei Open, a badminton championship, from July 19 to July 24, 2022. Indian supporters will be disappointed after elimination of all Indian shuttlers except Samiya Imad Farooqui in first round of Women’s singles matches.

2022 Taipei Open Badminton Women’s Singles First Round Results, Score, Draw, Fixtures
Malvika Bansod of India was eliminated from the women’s singles competition after losing to Liang Ting Yu of Chinese Taipei in the opening round. Yu defeated the Indian shuttler 10-21, 21-15, 21-14. By winning the opening set, Bansod had gotten off to a strong start but she dropped the following two sets and was out of the running.
Malaysian women’s singles shuttler S. Kisona lost against world No. 100 Samiya Imad Farooqui. The Indian shuttler successfully defeated the 2019 Sea Games winner in straight sets with a score of 21-15, 21-11 in the opening round of the Taiwan Open. Eoon Qi Xuan, a member of Kisona’s national squad, played well to advance to the second round by defeating Tereza Svabikova of the Czech Republic 21-12, 21-18. To advance to the quarterfinals, Qi Xuan must defeat Lauren Lam of the United States tomorrow.

Points Award System
The BWF point distribution method determines how many points are awarded for each round of the BWF World Tour Super 300 competition. Winners of the Men’s Singles event receive 7,000 BWF points, while losers receive 5,950 points.
The enormous number of points up for grabs will undoubtedly inspire competitors who want to move up in the BWF World Rankings. Indian badminton fans will be closely watching the only women’s singles shuttler from their country who has advanced to the pre-quarterfinals since she has a decent chance of climbing the BWF World Rankings.

Prize Money Pool Distribution
The entire prize pool for the 2022 Taipei Open will be US$500,000 when the prizes are distributed in accordance with BWF regulations. This prize pool will provide $37,500 to the male singles competition winner in addition to the highly prized gold medal.
