The $500,000 prize pool worth Yonex Taipei Open badminton tournament kicked-off at the Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium on July 19 and will run till July 24, 2022. Points Award System
According to the BWF point distribution method, points will be awarded for each round of the BWF World Tour Super 300 competition. The eventual final losers would receive 5,950 BWF points while the winners of each doubles category event would receive 7,000 BWF points. The enormous number of points up for grabs will undoubtedly inspire competitors who want to move up in the BWF World Rankings.

Prize Money Pool Distribution
The entire prize pool for the 2022 Taipei Open will be US$500,000 when the prizes are distributed in accordance with BWF regulations. From this prize fund, the doubles competition winner will receive $39,500.
