2022 Singapore Open Badminton Women’s Singles Quarterfinal Results, Fixtures, And Players List
PV Sindhu secured a place in the women’s singles semifinals at 2022 Singapore Open. On Friday, the third seeded player at Singapore Open defeated Han Yue of China 17-21, 21-11, 21-19. Following Kawakami Saena’s 21-17, 21-19 victory over Pornpawee Chochuwong, Sindhu is scheduled to play against the Japanese competitor next.
Ohori Aya, a fellow Japanese player who defeated Saina Nehwal of India 21-13, 15-21, 22-20, has also advanced to the semifinals. Wang Zhi Yi of China completes the lineup for the semi-finals after defeating Gregoria Mariska Tunjung of Indonesia 21-17, 21-18.

The BWF World Tour Super 500 competition’s point allocation for each round was determined using the BWF scoring system. Women’s Singles competition losers receive 7,800 BWF points, while the winner receives 9,200. With the exception of PV Sindhu, all top-seeded shuttlers have already exited the competition; hence, a sizable change in the BWF world rankings after the competition may be anticipated.
