The Singapore Open 2022 semifinals will feature Loh Kean Yew in front of his home audience. On friday, Loh defeated Li Shi Feng of China 21-15, 21-18 in the quarterfinals of the international badminton championship. The 25-year-old is the sixth seed for this competition and is still in great shape to win the title, which will be Singapore’s first men’s singles event gold in the tournament since 1962.

Points Award System

The BWF scoring system was used to determine how many points should be given for each round of the BWF World Tour Super 500 competition. Champion of the Men’s Singles competition receive 9,200 BWF points, while losers receive 7,800. All top-seeded players, with the exception of Anthony Ginting and Loh Kean Yew, have already left the event, hence a significant shift in the BWF world rankings following the tournament’s conclusion may be anticipated.
