The competition will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno. The Indonesia Masters will take place from June 7th to June 12th, 2022, and will feature a total prize money of $360,000.
June 7th- June 8th: First-round matches will begin at 9:30am local time
9th June: Second-round matches will begin
June 10: Quarter-finals begin
11th June: Semi-finals begin
June 12: Finals begin
2022 Indonesia Masters Badminton Doubles Category First Round Draw, Fixtures, Players List
Ashwini Ponnappa and Sikki Reddy will compete in women’s doubles after missing the Uber Cup and Thailand Open due to Sikki’s injuries. In the first round, the unseeded pair will meet the Lima sisters of Brazil. They are scheduled to meet China’s top seeded pair Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan in the second round.
India’s second women’s doubles pairing is Simran Singhi and Rithika Thaker. In the first round, they will face Lee So-hee and Shin Seung-chan, who are seeded second and third respectively. Ishaan Bhatnagar and Tanisha Crasto of India will open their campaign against Praveen Jordan and Melati Oktavianti of Indonesia, who are seeded fourth. In the mixed doubles, they are India’s only representative.
