Brittney revealed in an interview with SI.com, in the year 2013 on February 11 that she is a lesbian. She further stated that she got bullied while she was young. Griner was engaged to her fellow WNBA player Glory Johson in the year 2014 on August 14. After a year, the couple got arrested with charges of assault and disorderly conduct on April 22, 2015.
