The game is said to be the alternative of the banned game PUBG Mobile. So, here is a list of all the changes in BGMI vs PUBG you need to know about Battlegrounds Mobile India

The Indian government handed a ban to PUBG Mobile in September 2020. Moreover, the game was banned because of its Chinese connection with Tencent company. Tencent is the developer and publisher of PUBG Mobile globally. Indian Government banned the game under section 69A as it was said that the game is sharing data with the Chinese government.

Now, the game is launched and there are small and important changes in the game. So, here are all the changes you need to know about Battlegrounds Mobile India.

Before the launch, BGMI faced a lot of issues as most of the politicians asked the Indian government to ban the game. Furthermore, an MP from Ninong Ering wrote a letter to PMO asking the government to not allow the game to launch.

Unlike PUBG Mobile, BGMI’s data will be stored in the servers of Mumbai and Singapore. Earlier, PUBG Mobile used to send its data to a Chinese company named Chinese communication. Also, there are no useless permissions asked from the game. The game only asks two permission from storage and a Microphone. The microphone permission is asked because players use the in-game mic to communicate.

A reminder of the Virtual World

Battlegrounds Mobile India makes sure that the youngsters don’t get addicted to the game. Countries like Afghanistan and Jordan have banned the game because their government believed that the youngsters are getting addicted to the game.

So, BGMI reminds players that this is only a simulation and it is a virtual world. Also, there is a written text on the bottom saying welcome to the virtual world.

Game Mechanics

There is one more change which is small but looks very important. Moreover, now there is no blood emitting from a player when hit by a gun. The color red is now removed and when players get knock there is a flower-like thing that comes out.

Also, the Kill word is removed from the game. The word is replaced by finish and now when players get eliminated it pops up a message of finished.

So, it looks like BGMI has taken care of all the aspects before the launch. It means there will be no questions raised on the game and it will be safe from getting banned.
