The vast bulk of the original cast members will come back to reprise their roles except for the female lead. Alchemy Of Souls season 2’s first look and teaser indicate that Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung will return as members of the main cast, playing Jang Uk and Naksu, respectively.
Returning cast members include Yoo Joon Sang as Park Jin, Hwang Min Hyun as Seo Yul, Shin Seung Ho as Go Won, and Oh Na Ra as Kim Do Ju. Alchemy Of Souls’ second season will include Arin from Oh My Girl as Jin Cho Yeon.
However, there is still speculation around the return of Jung So Min, who was a female lead in season 1. Several reports indicated that she will not return for the second season as her body is already petrified in season 1.
