22-year-old Aditi dot Saigal was born in 1999 to Shena Ghamat and Amit Saigal. She is 5ft 6in tall and 57 kg in weight.
The journey of Aditi dot Saigal into the arts began at Bangor University in Wales where she pursued joint honors in creative writing and music. Her prowess as a musician earned her accolades from the School of Music, which felicitated her with the Phillip Pascall Memorial Prize for Outstanding Overall Achievement. Aditi’s musical journey commenced at the tender age of six. By the age of 12, she was already composing her original pieces, foreshadowing the depth of her creative abilities. Aditi’s breakout moment occurred when her song ‘Everybody Dances to Techno’ went viral in 2017, amassing over 35,000 plays on YouTube. This marked the beginning of her ascent in the Indian Rock Music community, solidifying her status as a rising star.
In 2021, Aditi released her debut EP, ‘Khomotion,’ featuring original compositions penned during her final year at Bangor University. Tracks like Alaw, Asymmetrical, Reassure Me, Unwanted Opinions, and Indigo showcased her versatility as a musician, blending various genres and showcasing a unique musical identity.
Beyond her musical prowess, Aditi has recently ventured into the world of acting, making her mark with the character Ethel in the OTT release ‘The Archie’ on Netflix. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar praised Aditi’s portrayal of Ethel, citing her “eccentrically charming” qualities as a perfect fit for the character. Aditi’s creative and quirky persona seamlessly translated into her acting, adding depth and authenticity to the role.
