The EFL Awards is an annual awards ceremony that honors footballers from the English Football League’s three divisions (EFL). In the year 2006, the event began and consists of various awards for best performers in EFL Championship, League One, and League Two. On April 24, 2022, the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in London hosted the 2022 EFL awards event.
The guests gathered at Grosvenor House with the event beginning at 7 PM GMT and lasting till 11 PM GMT.
2022 EFL Awards Winner List and Player of the Season Winners
At the 2022 EFL awards, Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic was named Championship Player of the Season, while MK Dons’ Scott Twine was voted League One Player of the Season. Kane Wilson of Forest Green has been named League Two Player of the Season.
Mitrovic won the prize after beating out Fulham teammate Harry Wilson and Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke. Wilson, meanwhile, won the accolade over Forest Green teammate Matty Stevens and Newport’s Dominic Telford.
