Mr. Shridhar Madhav Patankar is in the limelight after his immovable properties were provisionally attached by the Enforcement Directorate which include 11 flats in the Neelambari project in Thane, belonging to Shree Saibaba Grihanirmiti Pvt Ltd.
Mr. Patankar is the brother-in-law of the Maharashtra State’s Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.

The Enforcement Directorate provisionally attached the assets of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s brother-in-law Shridhar Madhav Patankar in a money laundering case with immovable properties worth Rs 6.45 crore of Shree Saibaba Grihanirmiti Private Limited. He has demonetized currency amounting to Rs 84.5 crore which was accepted for the purchase of 258 kg of gold.
He is reportedly a partner in the Pushpak group and according to Enforcement Directorate, Shree Saibaba Grihanirmiti Private Limited is owned by Shridhar Madhav Patankar.
