In response to the scandal, Equatorial Guinea’s Vice President Teodoro Nguema issued a public statement on X (formerly Twitter), condemning inappropriate behavior within government offices. Nguema emphasized that s*xual relations are strictly prohibited in administrative settings, adding that control mechanisms are now in place to prevent such conduct. He warned that any future violations would result in disciplinary action and dismissal.
