The video of Aquib Mir beating his wife Anna Jain has gone viral
In a shocking video that has been going viral over social media platforms, the Kashmiri man was seen beating his wife with a “Mooda” and claiming it’s a property dispute rather than a love jihad.
An image of a guy named Aquib Mir, who resides in Jammu and Kashmir, is circulating on social media, showing him violently beating his wife, Anna Jain, with a mooda, a traditional round cane chair.

Mir persuaded Anna to marry.
According to sources, Mir is charged with taking advantage of the woman with a false and fictitious identity, getting her into a phoney marriage (Nikah), and forcing her to give him her savings and sell her jewellery to buy real estate. In order to reveal Mir’s violence, the victim turned to X user Sonia Sisodia for assistance. Sisodia shared a video purportedly showing Mir hitting her wife with a “mooda.”
Anna Jain, the victim, told Sisodia about her experience and disclosed that Mir had purportedly contacted her on Instagram by creating a phoney account and impersonating Ravi Rajput, a purported staffer of Union Minister Rajnath Singh. Mir persuaded the victim that he was prohibited from having official social media accounts because of his work in defence, which was why he used a parody account.

Over several months, Mir gained Jain’s trust by manipulating their connection. Jain approached him after learning his true identity. Mir, a “skilled manipulator,” convinced her that he had concealed his Muslim background because he was deeply in love with her and was afraid of being rejected. He made a strong case, and she decided to Nikah with him. But after that, their tale took a terrifying turn, and Mir’s actual motivations became apparent.
According to Anna, Mir emotionally blackmailed her to give up her funds and sell her jewellery, which was worth between Rs. 40 and Rs. 50 lakhs, so that she could buy a house. After Mir’s finances dried up, the abuse became more severe and included daily beatings.
Mir is accused of cheating on several Jain and Hindu girls.
Ms Jain has revealed that Mir has been using a similar tactic to trap several women, mostly Jains and Hindus. The accused, however, denied the allegations in a post on X and stated that, contrary to what some are saying on social media, this is not an instance of love jihad. Rather, it is a property dispute, and the cops are looking into it right now.
Aquib was previously a BJP worker as well with a string of photos showing him with top levle leaders of the party before he was removed from the party back in October 2019.
The man seen in the video is @aquibmir71, beating a girl whom he trapped using a fake identity, did Nikah with her, forced her to give her bank balance and sell his jewellery to buy a property for him and later kicked her out.
