Her mother said, “Just a day before the accident, Ashwini informed me that she will be returning home in Jabalpur and had booked her ticket for June 18 to surprise her father on her birthday.

The family asserted that the decomposition of the bodes had begun because the Sassoon General Hospital had not been placed them in the cool chambers in the mortuary.

Anis Awadhiya’s father revealed that his son’s body has already begun to decay, and he is supposed to drive for ten or twelve hours in the sweltering summer heat. Since they were strangers and had already lost their child, they were hoping to receive at least decent medical care for the body.

The bereaved family comprises her mother, father, and 21-year-old younger brother, according to Dnyanendra Soni, Anis’s maternal uncle.

Family relatives of the deceased drove from Jabalpur to Nagpur by road and then took a plane from Nagpur to Pune after learning about the event.

A few of Anis’ friends and his younger brother were present to assist with the hospital and police station procedures. Anish’s brother asked the hospital administration to hold the bodies in the mortuary until the parents and other family members could arrive following the autopsy, which was performed on May 19 in the late afternoon.

Family members claim that because the hospital administration refused to grant their request, the bodies were left outside the mortuary for an extended period of time, which caused the decomposition process.
