Despite these assertions, Pooran’s nationality is exclusively West Indies. He hails from Mc Bean Village, Couva, Trinidad and Tobago. Nicholas Pooran, a Trinidadian cricketer, dons the colors of the Lucknow franchise in the Indian Premier League.
Nicholas Pooran’s parents’ names are Latchim Pooran (mother) but the name of his father isn’t known. He comes from a Trinidadian family.
Born on October 2, 1995, he currently stands at 29 years old. A left-handed batsman and wicketkeeper, Pooran entered the IPL arena in 2019 and has since participated in 76 matches, amassing 1,769 runs at an average of 32.16.
His journey in international cricket commenced with his West Indies debut in September 2016. In May 2022, he assumed leadership as the captain of the West Indies limited-overs team, only to step down from the role in November 2022.
