Geremi’s football career began with Racing FC in Bafoussam, Cameroon. After playing for the Cameroon U21 national team in Brazil, he left the country to join Cerro Porteño in Paraguay.
His rapid rise saw him land in Europe, where he spent two seasons with Gençlerbirliği in Turkey before making a significant move to Real Madrid, where he clinched two Champions League titles and earned praise from the likes of José Mourinho.
Prior to his successful tenure at Chelsea, where he won two Premier League titles, he was on loan at Middlesbrough. After a brief stay with Newcastle United, there were stints in Turkey and Greece.
