Following his illness-related withdrawal from the Genesis Invitational, Tiger Woods is anticipated to compete in the 2024 Masters field. Since 1996, the five-time green jacket champion has never missed a cut at the Masters. However, an injury caused him to retire last year after making the weekend.

With six Masters championships to his credit, Jack Nicklaus leads all time. Woods has to win one more game to tie Nicklaus’ record. It is to be seen if the legendary player will be there on the field.
In order to secure another significant victory, Jon Rahm withstood pressure from Brooks Koepka to win his maiden Green Jacket last year. In an attempt to retain his title, LIV star Rahm will take against an extremely difficult competition this time around, as Rory McIlroy, Viktor Hovland, and Scottie Scheffler are all vying for the top spot.
While this year’s purse isn’t revealed yet, the winner’s share was $3,240,000 in 2023 and the total purse of $18 million is expected to be the same in 2024.
When and where will the The Masters 2024 be held?
The 2024 Masters at Augusta National Golf Club will get underway on Thursday, April 11 after Masters Par 3 Contest on April 10. Up until the championship round on Sunday, April 14, play will take place every day.
On the first two days, the action is scheduled to begin at 1 pm UK time (8 am in Georgia), and on the weekend, it is scheduled to begin at 3 pm UK time.
