However, it was later discovered that the twins were actually fathered by Toukam’s previous partner, leading to a profound betrayal of trust with a DNA test proving the same.
Njitap’s wife is the daughter of the late billionaire, Victor Fotso, who became Castel’s chief partner in Cameroon and is one of his 121 children as reports claimed the man married 25 wives during his lifetime. When he died at the ripe old age of 94, he left behind more than $200 million.
Toukam and Njitap’s relationship had been marred by infractions as she accused him of being a “low-level street-walker” and hurled humiliating epithets at him.

About Geremi Njitap
Geremi Njitap’s international journey began with Cameroon’s youth teams, notably participating in the 1995 U-20 Youth World Cup finals. He played in all four games for the national team before they were defeated by Argentina in the quarterfinals.
Geremi made his senior debut for Cameroon in a match against Gabon in October 1996. He went on to feature in four of Cameroon’s six qualifiers for the 1998 FIFA World Cup, although he was ultimately left out of the finals squad despite the nation’s qualification.
Geremi achieved significant success with the Cameroon national team by winning Olympic Gold in Sydney in 2000 where he captained his country. He also won two Africa Cup of Nations titles in 2000 and 2002.
Geremi was part of the Cameroon squad that qualified for the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Japan, playing in all three of their World Cup final games and scoring a free-kick in a friendly draw with England before the tournament. However, the squad failed to qualify for the 2006 World Cup, finishing one point behind qualifiers Ivory Coast in their table.
Geremi’s contributions continued, earning his 100th cap for Cameroon on 11 February 2009, and scoring a goal in a friendly win against Guinea in Paris. He played in 11 matches during the 2010 World Cup qualification, with Cameroon finishing top of Group A in the third round.
