Do-ha makes an effort to justify why he didn’t murder her. When Gang-min steps in, Eom-ho is prepared to stab him because he doesn’t trust him. He tries to take Eom-ho into custody, but Do-ha aids in his escape.
This leads to a one-on-one discussion, during which Gang-min clearly acknowledges that he has feelings for Sol-hee. Gang-min speculates that the reason is that Sol-hee alleges to hear deceptions. Do-ha is adamant that he wishes to make Sol-hee happy and safe in his own manner. This reveals a lot about how much Do-ha is prepared to sacrifice for Sol-hee.
