Although India are yet to play their opener in the T20 World Cup 2021, the team is being touted as the outright favourite to walk away with the glistening trophy under its arms.
Its down to the side’s clinical showing in its warm-up fixtures with the side schooling both England and Australia. The Indian team has been comprehensive in both of its practice showdowns, performances which see the side in fluid touch ahead of its opening match with Pakistan.
And while the stature of the impending matchup couldn’t get any more colossal, an Indian side going from strength to strength is clearly relaxed ahead of the encounter. The side’s players were captured taking part in a game challenge from the Netflix series, Squid Game.

The Korean show which has gone viral in 2021 has caught the attention of the global stage with the Indian team being amongst one of its ardent admirers. The side was seen taking part in the dalogna candy challenge in a promotional video shared by the ICC on its Instagram handle.
The challenge which got underway in episode 3 of the blockbuster show requires players to carve out shapes drawn into candies without breaking them with those who failed to do so being shot dead.
Varun, Rahul, Suryakumar and Bumrah fail to make the cut as they end up breaking their candies while Rohit and Shami succeeded in managing to withdraw their shapes with ease.
