The prominent gymnastics coach Qi Han has been forbidden from practicing alone due to allegations that he physically, mentally, and verbally mistreated girls as young as nine years old. He is accused of dividing the gymnasts into “fat” groups and forcing them to hold handstands for 10 minutes.

Who is Qi Han?

Qi Han is a well-known American gymnastics coach. He has been in the news because he was recently placed under coaching restrictions on the charges of abuse.

He was born and raised in China. However, he later moved to the US and started his coaching career there.

Qi Han along with Yiwen Chen co-owns and operate Everest Gymnastics in North Carolina. He is the facility’s manager. Both of them have participated in China’s national gymnastics team in the past.
