“The team will continue to give Lance every chance to race, pending recovery from his injury. Should he not be fit to compete, then Felipe will drive the AMR23 alongside Fernando.”

In 2008, at the age of 8, Felipe Drugovich began his karting career in Brazil. From 2013 to 2015, he participated in international karting competitions, driving for prestigious teams like ART Grand Prix and Kosmic Racing, after competing in a variety of karting events in Brazil up to the age of 13.
He made his debut in formula cars in 2016, participating in the MRF Challenge 2016–17 in the Middle East, which he won in Dubai, and the German ADAC Formula 4 Championship. He continued to dazzle in 2018, winning the MRF Challenge 2017-2018 with an amazing 10 victories and an outstanding performance.
Felipe Drugovich participated in the Euroformula F3 Open championship with the Italian team RP Motorsport, where he set a new record for most victories in the series’ history by winning the championship in the 12th race at Monza with 14 victories in 16 races and two second-place finishes.
He raced in the FIA Formula 3 championship in 2019 before switching to the FIA Formula 2 championship with the Netherlands team MP Motorsport in 2020. He shocked everyone by winning three excellent matches in his season debut.
