2023 Malaysia Open doubles category schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & first-round draw

After stellar performance throughout 2022 including multiple titles, Indian pair Satwik & Chirag will have their eyes on the first title of 2023 BWF World Tour. In their first-round tie at upcoming Malaysia Open, they will face-off against Korean duo Choi & Kim. Meanwhile, fellow Indian pair Arjun & Kapila will clash against Korean pair Kang & Seo. To start their 2023 campaign, top-seed Takuro & Hoki will play against Taiwanese opponents Lee & Wang.

In women’s doubles, Treesa Jolly & Gayathri Gopichand will attempt to kick-off their campaign with a win against Nga Tin & Pui Lam from Hong Kong. Elsewhere, fellow Indian duo Ashwini Bhat & Shikha Gautam will face-off versus Thai opponents. This competition will be held at Kuala Lumpur’s Axiata Arena inside the KL Sports City from January 10 through January 15.
