2023 Malaysia Open women’s singles schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & first-round draw
At Malaysia Open, Indian ace PV Sindhu will begin 2023 BWF World Tour with first-round match against former world champion Carolina Marin. Meanwhile, reigning world champion Akane Yamaguchi will clash against Dane shuttler Line Kjærsfeldt to begin her title quest. In another first-round tie, Saina Nehwal is paired against in-form Chinese shuttler Han Yue and attempt to return towards winning ways for climbing in the BWF World Rankings.
Among other announced first-round matches, Indian shuttler Arundhati Kashyap is scheduled to face-off against Taiwanese shuttler Hsu Wn-Chi and Malvika Bansod will clash against Korean ace An Se-young in an uphill task. This competition will be held at Kuala Lumpur’s Axiata Arena inside the KL Sports City from January 10 through January 15. 2023 Malaysia Open: prize money distribution
