Gary played for the National Football League for 10 Seasons with Green Bay Backers.
The 90-year-old late player is best known for representing the Green Bay Packers for 8 years from 1954 to 1962.
The former player was also known as the public announcer for Lambeau Field as he performed the work for around 50 years from 1964 to 2014.
Gary was honored with the Hall of Fame members of the Packers in 1976. He had started his career back in 1954 in Chicago Cardinals as wide receiver.
Knafelc shifted his from Cardinals to the Packers in 1954. He was the part of the legendary Packers team which won back-to-back NFL titles back in 1961 and 1962.
The late player was famous for being the only player who carried off a Jubilant Packers fan group as the player caught an 18-yard touchdown pass against Detroit Lions.
After Gary ended his stint with Packers, he went on to represent San Francisco 49ers for a short while before retiring in 1963. After his retirement, he was amongst the only few stars who settled down in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The player who had a business venture at the Wisconsin was born in Pueblo, Colorado on January 2, 1932. However, he spent his last decade in Florida.
The former player was survived by his wife Emily, son Greg and daughter Kristi.
