The new Titanium Trials Endurance will replace Quads in Battle Royale until August 25.
What Is Titanium Trials Endurance?
The Titanium Trials Endurance is a new game mode that will temporarily replace Quads in Battle Royale until August 25. The new game mode will raise the maximum base armor threshold on Caldera, introducing longer gunfights.
The base armour in the new update has been increased to 300 hit points. However, that isn’t the only change. The “Tempered Perk” will feature more frequently as ground loot, which will help with armour repair. Each player will begin the game with a Self-Revive Kit to reduce early-game eliminations.
Another notable change to the normal rules is the longer durations for core health regeneration. Raven Software hopes to create a high-skill, high-time-to-kill (TTK) game mode with the new changes.
The development team also increased the price of your loadout, making it hard to score it at the beginning of the game. It will however, drop as the match progresses.
Titanium Trials Highlights and new features to expect:
- A game mode variant of Battle Royale that will feature 152 players on Caldera.
- The maximum base armour threshold has been increased to 300 hit points, which will go up to a total of 400 effective health when fully plated.
- Core Health is only 100 HP, and regeneration takes significantly longer to heal fully.
- The Tempered Perk appears more frequently as ground loot for more efficient armour repairs.
- Each player begins the game and returns from the gulag with a Self-Revive Kit.
- It features a custom-built, thematic loot table to support the higher TTK gameplay, including exceedingly rare Redacted Weapons that are a step more powerful than Loadout Weapons.
- The cost of loadouts in buy stations begins at a higher price point and decreases over the course of the match.
- The Infiltration cinematic for T-800 and T-1000 Terminator Operators has been updated.
Titanium Trials Endurance went live on August 11 and will be available to play until August 25. In the meantime, TTE will feature better floor weaponry than the stuff you’ve made in your own loadout.
Raven confirmed earlier this year:
Titanium Trials features a custom-built loot table to support the higher TTK gameplay, including exceedingly rare Redacted Weapons that are a step more powerful than Loadout Weapons.
