Recently, the German F1 driver took part in one of the customary “Fan Meet Driver” Formula 1 fan interaction events. During the practice, Vettel made fun of the call and worried about the safety of a British fan.
During the Q&A, Vettel questioned a fan if he was both driving and taking the call. The host said they were travelling to Silverstone, but the fan said he was in the passenger seat. The driver also admitted that his missus was on the wheel, and that they had been stopped for swabs five minutes earlier.
After expressing his relief, Vettel continued to tease the fan by making a joke about driving in England. Vettel poked fun at the fan by sarcastically saying that he forgot car seats in England were on right, which made him think that despite sitting in the driver’s seat on left, the fan was concentrating on camera instead of driving.
