Sports Complexes Have Turned Into Parking Lots In Maharashtra As Sharad Pawar And MVA Ministers Park Car On Running Track For Athletes

The MVA VVIPs didn’t want to use the elevators to the second floor of the sports complex with Sharad Pawar parking his car on the track

According to the Union Sports Minister of India Kiren Rijiu, this is an act of disrespect portrayed by the Maharashtra government. VVIP’s of the MVA government in Maharastra including Sharad Pawar parked their cars on the track of the sports complex where they went for a meeting. These ministers are being highly criticized by the sports authorities as well as the opposing government for this act.

Union Sports Minister Rijiu stated, “I’m personally quite sad after seeing this act of disrespect for sporting ethics as well as sports in India”. He made this statement by tweeting on Twitter. Also, he added to his previous statement that all sports complexes and centers functioning in need are in definite need of care.

This criticism began on Saturday when Sharad Pawar, Chief of the Indian Olympic Association along with his other ministers went for a meeting. This meeting was being conducted at a sports complex in Maharashtra. Sharad Pawar, Aditi Tatkare, and Sunil Kedar were supposed to review an Indian sports project in this meeting.

Images of the cars owned by these ministers are going viral on the internet. Don’t get confused, the reason behind getting viral is not that these cars belong to VVIP’s. But in fact, the reason is the parking of cars on a race track. According to the officials of the race track, only Sharad Pawar took permission to park his vehicle on the track as he had some issues with his leg.

Now the sports ministry is questing that how come 10 more cars were spotted at the racing track during the meeting. Maharashtra sports commissioner also stated that the cars can be parked on the cemented part of the track if required. But the permission was only given to one minister according to him.
