Tsunoda, the sole driver from Japan in the starting lineup, is new to the Formula 1 circuit. Yuki was inspired to participate in racing after seeing his father race in nearby events. The Japanese driver was greatly influenced by his mechanic father.
In 2016, he made his debut foray into Formula 4. He made his first-ever breakthrough in the sport in 2018 while participating in Formula 4, winning the F4 championship. He quickly established himself in Formula 3 by winning a race and taking three podiums. He competed in the Toyota Racing Series and EuroFormula Open in addition to his F3 career.
He quickly made his way to Formula 2 and began to drive next to Jehan Daruvala. Both of them were members of the Red Bull Juniors Team. But things for him altered once he made it into the F1 scene. Pierre Gasly was his first co-driver, but once Gasly switched to Alpine, Tsunoda found another inexperienced colleague.
Net worth of Yuki Tsunoda
While driving for AlphaTauri, Nyck de Vries and Tsunoda were quickly replaced by Daniel Ricciardo in the Junior team. The terms of Tsunoda’s agreement with Red Bull, however, are unknown. In 2021, Yuki began operating vehicles for AlphaTauri. Franz Tost made it clear that Yuki would also hold his position in 2023 with successful outcomes. Helmut Marko concurred with his remarks in favour of the Japanese driver.
In addition to his non-disclosed contract, Yuki Tsunoda earns a $1 million annual income. Even if he is now among the lowest-paid drivers, this is still a fantastic accomplishment for a rookie. However, his anticipated net worth in 2023 will be $5 million, the same as Nyck de Vries.
The driver has benefited greatly from the many sponsors and endorsements that his years in Formula 1 have brought. The Japanese driver’s net worth has also benefited from these endorsements. Honda first provided Tsunoda with sponsorship, and since 2016, the “Honda Formula Dream” has also provided support. It’s also rumoured that Honda gave Yuki a chance to drive the Red Bull junior car.
Along with that, Protex and Platz have both been endorsed by him. Arai Helmet is a Japanese helmet company that makes motorsports helmets, and Yuki Tsunoda also endorses them. At his home race last year, Tsunoda also endorsed the Japanese skincare line Bulk Homme.
