Th Queen’s Crown is the first women’s singles elimination tournament held in the WWE, the tournament is the female counterpart of the King of the Ring. WWE has tried to create something similar to the king of the ring for the females and came up with the Queen’s Crown.
The company announced that the inaugural tournament will crown it’s first winner at the Crown Jewel PPV and has already completed the round one of the tournament. Take a look below to find out details on the match ups, finals details and more.
WWE Queen’s Crown 2021: Queen Of The Ring Tournament, Winners, Matches, Bracket, Results
The tournament was kicked off during last week’s Friday night SmackDown which hosted the first set of round one matches. The matches held were:
- Liv Morgan vs Carmella: Long time rivals Morgan and Carmella started the tournament. Carmella got her victory and advance to the semi finals of the tournament.
- Zelina Vega vs Toni Storm: these two fought to book a place in the semi finals alongside Carmella. Vega was able to beat Toni Storm and advance to the next round.
The second set of round one matches were took place on this week’s Monday night Raw to determine the other two semi finalists. The matches were:
- Doudrop vs Natalya: Doudrop proved to be dominant throughout the match and beat Natalya to secure his place in the semi finals.
- Dana Brooke vs Shayna Baszler: There was actually a bit of certainty as to who will qualify from this match. Baszler put on a dominant performance and came out on top.
Semi-Finals of Queen’s Crown
The semi finals are set and will be in the order stated below –
- Zelina Vega vs Carmella (Upcoming Smackdown)
- Doudrop vs Shayna Baszler (Upcoming Raw)
Predictions for the Final of the Queen’s Crown
Carmella vs Shayna Baszler looks the most likely match up for the finals of Queen’s Crown. With Baszler being the favorite to win the match. Baszler has been on quite a dominant run in the WWE and it is hard to see her lose as of now.
The final of Queen’s Crown has been scheduled to take place at the Crown Jewel PPV on October 21st. The event will be held at Riyad, Saudi Arabia. This is the very first year the tournament is taking place and it will be interesting to see how wins this.
