2023 WTT Singapore Smash doubles final winners, score, final day schedule, & prize money pool distribution
At the 2023 WTT Singapore Smash, Wang Chuqin & Fan Zhendong clinched the men’s doubles championship by defeating Jang Woojin & Lim Jonghoon 3-1 (9-11, 13-11, 11-7, 11-4) in the summit-clash. After mounting a remarkable comeback from two games down to upset Chen Meng & Wang Yidi 3-2 (5-11, 3-11, 11-9, 11-4, 13-11), Sun Yingsha & Wang Manyu have been named Women’s Doubles winners at Singapore Smash for the second year in a row.
Fan Zhendong secured a convincing 4-1 (11-6, 13-11, 11-6, 9-11, 11-5) victory against Wang Chuqin on Saturday to secure his spot in the men’s singles final at Singapore Smash for a second consecutive year. After losing to Wang in the WTT Champions Macao 2022 final, the reigning champion came into the penultimate day with a goal in mind, and he would leave the table happy with his day’s work in Singapore. As Ma Long defeated Hugo Calderano in the second semifinal (11-6, 11-6, 11-4, 8-11, 11-8), the Men’s Singles final will feature a rematch of last year’s contest between Fan and Ma.
