Wrexham play at the Racecourse Ground in north-western Wrexham, which was built in 1807 and has a current capacity of slightly more than 10,000 fans. The stadium is regarded as the world’s oldest still hosting international matches.
The Racecourse has hosted the most Wales national team matches of any venue, first welcoming the team in 1877 and most recently in 2019, when the hosts defeated Trinidad and Tobago on a late Ben Woodburn goal. The stadium has a record crowd of 34,445 who came to see Wrexham play Manchester United’s famed “Busby Babes” in the 1957 FA Cup.
The current club badge debuted for the 1973/74 season and features two dragons, the national symbol of Wales, on either side, as well as the same background colors (green and white) as the Welsh flag.

Wrexham AFC’s current squad is brimming with talent. Phil Parkinson, 55, is the manager. He played over 360 times for Reading as a midfielder before retiring in 2003 to begin his coaching career. Before joining Wrexham, he managed Colchester United, Hull City, Charlton Athletic, Bradford City, Bolton Wanderers, and most recently Sunderland.
The club’s current leading scorer is 24-year-old striker Paul Mullin, who joined from Cambridge United in 2021/22 and lit up the National League. In his first season at the club, he scored 26 goals in 38 league games, and in season two, he has 34 goals in 40 league games.
The squad Is mostly made up of veterans, with 23-year-old defensive midfielder Thomas O’Connor, a former Southampton youth product, being the youngest regular contributor.
Center-back Ben Tozer leads the team in minutes played this season, and former Celtic youth product and Ireland youth international Eoghan O’Connell, who joined on Deadline Day from League One side Charlton Athletic, also plays at center-back.
