Arjun Tendulkar, making his IPL debut, joined the unwanted list after being taken to the cleaners by Sam Curran and Harpreet Bhatia in the 16th over of the innings to top the list of the most expensive over in IPL 2023

Tendulkar junior gave away three fours, two sixes, and a single, as well as a wide and a no ball.

Earlier in the season, Gujarat Titans bowler Yash Dayal also gave up 31 runs in the final over of an innings, costing his team the match against Kolkata Knight Riders as Rinku Singh hit him for five consecutive sixes while chasing 29 off 5 balls.

Umran Malik and Lockie Ferguson are two of the bowlers who have bowled the most expensive overs in the Indian Premier League so far this season. Pacers make up the entire top ten list.

While Dayal and Tendulkar top the list in 2023, they also bowled the IPL’s joint fourth most expensive over. In fact, they gave up one more run than Curran, who is also on the list.

Harshal Patel (currently with Royal Challengers Bangalore) and Prashanth Parmeswaran (no longer in the IPL) still hold the record. Daniel Sams is second, ahead of Parwinder Awana and Ravi Bopara.
