Have a look at the Most Valuable Player in WPL 2023 Leaderboard and the MVP players list
The Most Valuable Player (MVP) award made its debut in the 2013 season of the Indian Premier League.
A Player of the Tournament award was given to the best IPL player each year from 2008 to 2012.
Now, the WPL is anticipated to continue the IPL’s legacy with its first edition for the women’s category.

The Women’s Premier League will also give out the orange cap and purple cap for the top batter and top bowler, respectively, in addition to the MVP award.
The WPL’s Most Valuable Player is determined by a special rating system that awards points for each four, six, wicket, dot ball, catch, run out, and stumping.
A player receives 2.5 points for every four, 3.5 points for six, 3.5 points for a wicket, 1 point for a dot ball, and 2.5 points for every catch or stumping.
When all of these points are tallied up at the end of the season, the player at the top of the list will be awarded an MVP trophy (after the championship game).
Hayley Matthews, a fantastic all-around player for the Mumbai Indians in the current Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023, is currently rated as the league’s most valuable player (MVP).
The WPL 2023 MVP list also includes Matthews’ MI teammates Natalie Sciver Brunt, Amelia Kerr, and Saika Ishaque. Nonetheless, it is still rather early in the tournament because the final will decide the champion.
Shafali Varma, Kim Garth, Meg Lanning, Harmanpreet Kaur, Grace Harris, Tara Norris, and Megan Schutt are among the members of the chasing pack. There will likely be a lot of change as the season progresses.
