5. Giant Silva
As his name might suggest, this MMA fighter was a giant amongst every professional opponent he faced, yet managed to end up in this list. Although Silva had some good form while participating in NJPW. Yet when he tried his hand into the sport of MMA, Silva was stunned fight after fight, managing a string of 2-6.
Able to draw in Japanese crowds thanks to his enormous 7’2, 385 lb, Giant Silva was one of the worst fighter of MMA as he never learnt or incorporated any MMA skill, managing to move to the wrestling circuit.
4. Yoji Anjo
He was a Japanese Professional fighter who wanted to bridge the gap between MMA and NJPW. His first loss was in a 35-minute long battle, which impressed many UFC agents, managing to fetch a call up. He lost his UFC debut against Tank Abbott after taking the match the distance and followed that up with two more losses before leaving the promotion in 2000.
Yoji Anjo managed a record of 0-5-1 after finally deciding to move away from the sport of UFC to wrestling.
3. Alexander Otsuka
He might have won his first professional MMA fight against Marco Ruas in 1998, yet suffered losses against Renzo Gracie, Ken Shamrock, Anderson Silva, Rampage Jackson, and Wanderlei Silva. Although he did manage to end his professional MMA career with a win.
At the end he stood with a record tally of 4-13, which is till date the most losses incurred by any MMA fighter.
2. Chad Rowan (Akebono)
He was the first non-Japanese sumo wrestler to ever earn the title of Yokozuna, but his skills in MMA were never up to par. Although he was twice the size of his opponents yet Akebono never managed to win a single fight in his MMA career, registering a record of 0-4.
