2022 Women’s World Team Table Tennis Championships Results Today, Quarterfinal Schedule, Best Performers, Score, And Latest Updates
In first match of India vs Chinese Taipei tie, India’s top-ranked paddler Manika Batra was defeated by world no.22 Chen Szu-Yu in straight sets with score of 7-11, 9-11, 3-11. To keep India’s winning chances alive, national champion Sreeja Akula stepped-up in second match but lost 1-3 against Cheng I-Cheng by score of 8-11, 11-5, 6-11, 9-11. Later, Diya Chitale battled valiantly against Liu Hsing-Yin but ultimately fell short due to 2-3 defeat by score of 6-11, 11-9, 11-9, 8-11, 7-11. With these results, Chinese Taipei completed their white-wash over Indian women’s team and managed to secure a berth in quarterfinal.
Wednesday saw the conclusion of pre-quarterfinal stage matches in women’s tournament as number of remaining teams dropped to eight. Defending champions China and second-seeded Japan were again no match for their opponents, which allowed them to finish their respective ties with 3-0 win and advance to quarterfinal. In quarterfinal, China and Japan will play Portugal and Slovakia respectively while Chinese Taipei will play Singapore.

2022 Women’s World Team Table Tennis Championships Quarterfinal Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
India have bowed out from women’s event following their 0-3 loss against Chinese Taipei in tie that was completely dominated by paddlers from Chinese Taipei. Elsewhere, China and Japan both continued their flawless winning record after winning their respective pre-quarter ties with score of 3-0 against Hungary and South Korea respectively. China’s Chengdu will host quarterfinal round matches of the women’s competition on October 6 with all winners from this round set to advance towards semi-final round, which is scheduled on 7th October.
