In case there’s been one colossal takeaway from the COVID pandemic, it’s the utter disregard and lack of respect a section of the society holds towards the environment.
Despite endearing pictures of nature reclaiming itself emerging during last year’s and 2021’s lockdown, we’ve been treated to appalling visuals of callousness once lockdown norms start to ease up. The most notable example is of the pollution level in Delhi, one which reached its traditional over 300 AQI levels after waning to as low as 100 in 2020.
Its been the same appalling visuals have been witnessed from around the global stage with gutting images emerging of gargantuan plastic and smoke pollution, rampant cutting of trees and a string of other facets, all which have contributed to the Earth losing its semblance.

And rather than mere scanty indulging in shenanigans like most of the environmental activists have, India has emerged as one of the leaders in making the planet a better place.
