World Athletics will host the World Athletics Relays at the Thomas A Robinson Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas, from May 4 to May 5. This event is positioned as a qualifying opportunity for relay teams aiming to compete in the Paris Olympics 2024. A total of 893 athletes, representing 54 nations, will participate in the competition, including 15 athletes from India.

Suzhou Diamond League 2024: events and athletes entry list
The Relays competition will comprise five different categories: Men’s 4x400m, Men’s 4x100m, Women’s 4x400m, Women’s 4x100m, and Mixed 4x400m. In this event, India will only field teams in the Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed 400m relay categories. In total, thirty-two teams will participate in the men’s 4x400m relay, while 27 teams will compete in the women’s 4x400m and 30 teams will take on the mixed 4x400m relay.
It’s important to note that the top 14 teams in each event will secure spots for their respective countries in the Paris Olympics 2024. Notably, the top two teams in each heat on the opening day will advance to the final on the second day, also securing their quotas for the Paris Olympics 2024.
