China demonstrated their squad depth on Day 4 of diving, winning yet another gold medal on the way to possibly repeating its sweep of all 13 diving world titles from the previous year. In the team event final on Tuesday, Chinese team of Si Yajie, Zheng Jiuyuan, Zhang Minjie, & Bai Yuming managed a cumulative score of 489.65 points, which was more than enough to clinch the gold medal. Mexico’s quartet finished second, 34.30 points behind China, after making a push on its final three dives (all on 10m). Mexico already has five medals from this competition, and it is China’s closest competitor in terms of diving success.

The European Broadcasting Union has confirmed that they will broadcast the 2023 World Aquatics Championships in Europe. Additionally, several EBU member broadcasters, such as the BBC in the United Kingdom, France Télévisions in France, & RAI in Italy, will be airing the Championships at the same time.
