Who Is Alexia Putellas? Winner Of 2021 Women’s Ballon d’Or!
Alexia Putellas Segura is a professional footballer from Spain. She was born on February 4, 1994, and plays as a midfielder for Barcelona in the Primera Divisiรณn and for the Spain national team. She is thought to be the best female football player in the world by most people.
Since 2012, Putellas has played for Barcelona. When she was younger, she spent most of her time with Espanyol. She has won six league titles, seven Copas de la Reina, and one UEFA Women’s Champions League title since she joined Barcelona. She was a big reason why Barcelona won the UEFA Women’s Champions League and a continental treble for the first time in their history in the 2020โ21 season.
Later, Putellas became the first player to win all three awards in the same year, 2021. She won the UEFA Women’s Player of the Year Award, the Ballon d’Or Fรฉminin, and The Best FIFA Women’s Player. Putellas won the award for UEFA Women’s Player of the Year for the second year in a row in 2022.
