An announcement regarding the 2024 Women’s Asia Cup was made by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and the fixtures were revealed.
The ninth edition of the Asia Cup, features an exciting fixture where the Indian women’s cricket team will take on their bitter rivals, Pakistan on July 21. India has won the most titles, couting to seven, in the tournament’s history, making them the most successful team ever.

India, who won the gold medal at the Asian Games last year, has competed in the finals of the last eight editions.
Eight teams total; one more than in the 2022 edition; will compete in the competition. The semifinalists of the Women’s Premier Cup 2024; United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Nepal, and Thailand; will join India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
In keeping with the previous edition’s successful execution, the competition will also include all female umpires and referees.

The UAE, Pakistan, Nepal, and India; the reigning champions; are in Group A, while Bangladesh, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand compete in Group B.

When and where will the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 be held?
The forthcoming Women’s Asia Cup 2024 is slated to occur in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, from July 19 to July 28. India, who have won seven Asia Cups, will play their opening match on July 19 against the United Arab Emirates and then on July 21 against Pakistan. The top two teams from each group will move on to the semi-finals, which take place on July 26 and conclude on July 28. Check out the full schedule below:
