Wolves are currently sitting in the relegation zone and are looking to improve things with a long way to go.
Ruben Amorim Emerges as Clear Favourite
The present odds market for the next Wolves manager displayed Amorim as the clear frontrunner ahead of several candidates.
Ruben Amorim who is currently managing Portuguese club Sporting CP has ties with the squad and with the nation well represented in the Wolves side. As such, it comes as no surprise to see more names on the manager list featured from the same country.
Next Wolverhampton Wanderers Manager Odds
Besides Ruben, several other Portuguese candidates like Pedro Martins and Andre Villas-Boas follow up close behind in the running.
The two candidates hold single figure prices while Sergio Conceicao, current Porto boss and Carlos Carvalhal, former Swansea and Sheffield Wednesday manager are outside chances.
Club Veteran Joao Moutinho also comes up close behind with the same odds as Carlos Carvalhal.
Besides the Portuguese candidates, Spanish international Julien Lopetegui comes at a close second in odds.
However, Sean Dyche is the most interesting contender in the list. He is currently an outsider in the current market but could gain plenty of interest.
The Premier League regular is still looking for a management position after leaving Burnley. Dyche spent a decade with the Clarets following a short stint at Watford but could suit this Wolverhampton side.
Given below is the odds list for the next Wolves manager:
- Ruben Amorim 5/4
- Julien Lopetegui 4/1
- Pedro Martins 6/1
- Andre Villas-Boas 8/1
- Sean Dyche 10/1
- Sergio Conceicao 12/1
- Carlos Carvalhal 14/1
- Joao Moutinho 14/1
