HBO’s “Winning Time: The Rise of Lakers Dynasty” has returned back with its season 2 this year 2023, know its release date

HBO’s drama series of sport “Winning Time: The Rise of Lakers Dynasty” is now back for its season 2, after the big success of its first season. With each episode, the show’s rating grew and it even received nominations in Emmy awards.

The series will star John C. Reilly, Quincy Isaiah, Jason Segel, and many more. The series has been produced by the Oscar winner Adam McKay. It follows the story of the so-called “Showtime” era of the Los Angeles Lakers during the 1980s.
The story of the series is based on Jeff Pearlman’s New York Times book, which is a bestseller of 2014, named ‘Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley, and Los Angeles Lakers’.
Winning Time season 2 release date
While HBO has not yet confirmed the release date of the series’ second part, Jeff Sneider of The Ankler and Below the Line reported that season 2nd will be airing during spring/summer. Season 1 had 10 episodes in total so the viewers can expect the same from season 2.

Showrunner Max Borenstein revealed that the upcoming season 2 of Winning Time will be having a similar pace that the first season. To tell the next piece of the story, will involve Paul Westhead and Pat Riley and a struggle that magic has.
