What Show is actually about?
Based on Jeff Lemire’s comic book series, Netflix’s Sweet Tooth has won over audiences all over the world with its singular fusion of fantasy-like visuals, an intense narrative, and a sentimental core that can shatter even the hardest of hearts. The first season recounts the journey of Tommy Jepperd (Nonso Anozie), a human companion, and Gus (Christian Convery), a hybrid deer-boy, as they endure the perils of a world devastated by a fatal illness.
The series’ creators, Jim Mickle and Beth Schwartz have maintained true to Lemire’s original writing while also bringing their own distinctive style to the project. As a result, the series’ bold visuals, engrossing soundscapes, and jaw-dropping action sequences provide viewers with a feast for the senses.
