After season 1, fans are excited about Moving Kdrama Season 2 expected release date and plot and want to know more about the series
Fans of the hit South Korean drama Moving are left wondering if there will be a Season 2 after the cliffhanger ending. The drama was based on a webcomic by Kang Full.
Will Kdrama Moving Season 2 come, release date, cast and plot story
We can expect Moving Season 2 expected release date to be around 2024 or 2025. After finalizing its cast in late August of 2021, production on Moving commenced. It took a long time to construct the CGI and perfect the stuntwork in the K-drama. Season 1 of Moving premiered in August 2023, thus fans can assume that it will take some time for the show’s creators to conceive, develop, and film Season 2.
There is always room to expand the cast and plot of any Korean drama based on a book. Full has hinted that the success of Moving will determine whether or not there will be a second season, but he has also admitted that he would like a break. His debut as a screenwriter was the film Moving.
As for the production of Season 2, “Nothing has been confirmed yet. There are many things that need to be solved before the production, everything will have to go smoothly,” the director said.
Fans of “Moving” estimated that actor Yoo Seung-ho would play Kim Young Tak in season 2 of “Moving,” noting the resident registration number “930817” on the statement.
Moving Season 2
There has been no confirmation of a Moving Season 2 from Disney+ or Kang Full as of yet. The series finale of Moving left viewers satisfied. All the key protagonists survived the spectacular battle that ensued in the high school, while most of the North Korean agents were killed. The season finale, though, did hint at a few potential storylines for the upcoming second season.
Fans witnessed Kang-hoon’s recruitment into the NIS after his graduation. Why? Due to his father’s and his own special abilities, the NIS watched him closely as a child. Kang-hoon promised to assist the NIS and eventually join them so that he could protect his father. The ending hints at an even darker conclusion.
Season 2 Plot
As the NIS has a new director, some fans are speculating that Season 2 of Moving may be a prequel to Kang Full’s Timing webtoon based on a few Easter eggs and the post-credit scene.
The crossover between Moving and Full’s other popular webcomic, Timing, was a good one. Fans witnessed a conversation between Il-hwan and a pupil some years prior to the events depicted. Fans witness the student snap his fingers and pause the action, but he never shows his face. Kim Young-tak is a pivotal figure in the novel Timing. The webcomic occurs in the same continuity as Moving but before its events.
