Wild Strawberry chapter 8 release date is now out
The latest chapter brought relief to fans who were eagerly anticipating whether Kingo would be accepted into the Seventh Flower Funeral Force squad.
Surprisingly, he successfully made it through. However, to earn the title of a cadet, he still faces the daunting challenge of proving his worth by achieving 100% control over his Jinka.

This task may be particularly demanding for him since his Jinka is Kayano, who is fiercely protective of her brother. Kingo will need to find a way to connect with her, as it appears that despite their inherent connection, there are still lessons they need to learn.
In “Wild Strawberry,” the story picks up from where it left off in the previous installment, with Kingo and Makki arriving at the Seventh Flower Funeral Force headquarters.
There, they encounter Hikishima, the squad’s director, who is 24 years old but self-conscious about his youthful appearance. Believing that Kingo may be judging him for this, Hikishima takes an unusual step by stomping on Kingo’s leg.
Ultimately, Hikishima grants Kingo permission to join the squad, with the condition that he must achieve 100% control over his Jinka.
Makoto informs Kingo that his trials will commence the following morning since Jinkas tend to be less active during the nighttime. He also cautions Kingo that failing these trials would result in Makoto personally pruning him.
Ayari and Hikishima chime in to emphasize the importance of meeting these conditions. Despite the challenges ahead, Kingo eagerly accepts the challenge, thrilled to become a part of the team.
Expectations
Chapter 8 is anticipated to showcase Kingo’s progress as he strives to synchronize with his Jinka, Kayano. Achieving full control over a Jinka is no easy feat, so Kingo will begin by mastering the initial 10-20%, giving him a promising start on his journey within the Seventh Flower Funeral Force.
