Makki saw a change in Kingo as he was using his Jinka form in battle. The truth is that Kayano’s rage was the driving force behind his actions. The mysterious female of the Flower Funeral Force was trapped, her Pruning Spears ability rendered useless by Kingo’s strong Jinka armor.
In spite of Kingo’s incessant yelling, Makki noticed that he was holding back his anger at Kayano. The girl and Makki were stranded in the roadway as the sticky Jinkas overtook it. Kingo’s daring high-jump efficiently eliminated all nearby Jinkas, protecting Makki and the girl.
When Kingo regained consciousness, he told the girl he had shown his peaceful intentions by kicking a wall. The girl was debating Kingo, warning him not to come out as haughty, when an odd man in Flower Funeral Force garb walked in. Everyone was taken aback when he asked Kingo the shocking question of whether he was human or Jinka.
