In fact, during an interview with Betfair, Jose Bautista said that The White Sox surprised him a little bit this year. He listed a few others as well, but he said that despite The White Sox getting off to a slow start, they started to pick it up.

The time is now
The White Sox have not won a World Series Title since 2005, so they are certainly way overdue for a big win.
As mentioned in the introduction, while the team may have had quite a slow start, they are still very much within touching distance and ready to strike in their division.
So long as they can put the shaky start behind them and keep on focusing on moving up the table, baseball fans of the White Sox may be in for a better end to the season than they initially expected.
Will the team be surprising fans for all of the wrong reasons?
It all depends on whether you are a glass half-empty or glass half-full type of person when answering this question. After all, there are a lot of people that think the White Sox are going to surprise people this year, but not for the same reason as mentioned above.
Many fans have been critical of the work that the White Sox have done during the offseason, as they are worried they may not have enough to see this championship over the line.
A lot of sports correspondents and experts have noted that loading up on their bullpen is all that this team seems to have done throughout the off-season. Because of this, a lot of people have concluded that nothing is going to see them go past the team that fell short last post-season in the ALDS against the Houston Astros.
Of course, time will tell whether or not this is a fair observation, or whether there is a lot to love about the White Sox’s campaign this year.
