Bisnow Media, also known as Bisnow, is a multi-platform digital media company that produces news and live events. Founded in 2005, Bisnow Media is owned by Will Friend who had a net worth of $5 million.
The Supergirl star, Odette Annable, confirmed the death news of Will through a social media post. Odette took to her Instagram and posted a tribute to Will and prayers for her dear friend’s Bevin and the grieving family.
Bevin and Will got married in 2016 but they didn’t have any children together.
Who Was Will Friend?
For the last 7 years, Will was the CEO of Bisnow Media. Although he lived in Wilmington, North Carolina, he was born in the UK to English parents and he lived there until he was 15. Later he moved to the U.S. and did his secondary schooling in Washington DC.
According to the company website notes, “Will was known for being pivotal in transforming the companies from local business into an “intelligence platform for the multi trillion-dollar commercial real estate market”.
He joined the company in 2010 just after his graduation. He was named COO in 2013 and later became the CEO in 2015.
The website states that, “Will was passionate about bikes, especially about his Yamaha YZF-R6, and was prone to scuba diving trips in Mauritius”.
A GoFoundMe campaign has started to raise the money to support causes for those who were close to Will’s heart. The description of the page says that the fund will also be directed towards Recess, a business that Will was extremely passionate about and been working on with his wife Bevin.
The page also says that a part of donations will be donated to the Special Operators Transition Foundation, which was founded by Robert J. O’Neill. Since now, the page has raised more than $31,500.
Odette’s Instagram post has been flooded with tributes. Many have come forward to support his causes. He died aged 33.
